Evan McCulloch - Co-founder, Lead Musician


Evan has been playing guitar for over 30 years and teaching children and adults since he was 16.  Born into a family of musicians, he began playing the ukulele at age 5 and gave his first live music performance at age seven. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Performance from Purchase College, State University of New York. Evan has been conducting children's music classes throughout New York since 2011.  His experience also includes, mentoring children and teens with special needs, and writing and performing original music.  He is also the lead guitar player of the New York tri-state area's premiere party band, Hank Lane. He is well versed in a variety of musical traditions including rock, jazz, blues, classical, flamenco, R&B, and hip-hop.  Evan's passion and mission in life is to inspire children and adults through music by providing a foundation that allows them to incorporate music into their daily lives.

Andrea Hesler, Co-founder, Creative Director


Andrea has been working with children for over 20 years and she loves working with kids of all ages. Her love of working with children began as a college student, when she volunteered at an after-school program helping children with special needs.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Rutgers University where she studied theater, dance, and gymnastics. Andrea has been developing and teaching music and movement programs for children since 2011. Her unique classes incorporate yoga, dance, and gymnastics. Andrea’s energetic, creative approach, engages children of all ages.  Additionally, she is an experienced nanny and teaching assistant.
